Emotion Skill Cards
What these cards are for
Skill cards highlight one gentle regulation skill at a time, modeled by a Feeling Friend. Each card supports learning through example, not instruction.
How to use
Look at one card together. Talk about what the character is doing with their body. Let the child decide if and when they want to try something similar. These cards can be used during calm moments or kept nearby for reassurance.

What You'll gain from the Educator Toolkits
Steadier Confidence
Understanding how regulation develops helps moments feel less personal and more navigable. With time, this perspective builds confidence — not through control, but through steadiness.
New Ways of Seeing
When behavior is viewed through the lens of the nervous system, familiar challenges often look different. Small shifts in understanding can open up more flexible, compassionate responses.
Practical Supports
Simple tools grounded in breath, rhythm, and presence can be woven into daily routines. Used gently and consistently, they support calmer environments for both children and adults.
A Quiet Reminder
Regulation is not a destination.
It’s something we return to — again and again — often together.
